2004 Releases and info.
Broken Heroes:
Produced BY: Marty Munsch
Release On: Street Anthem Records (Seattlle WA)
URL: www.Streetanthemrecords.com
Release Date: Summer 2004
A Breakthrough recording; for the BROKEN HEROES featuring former T.J. Blank (Blanks 77 fame); that will thrill your heart and soul, with the atomic pounding street sounds and back to basics, of punk, rock n roll, ska, ragge. 1960's infusion of buddy holly meets the broken heroes with Marty Munschs' shoe in his dead ass. This WILL go into the annals of east, west coast as well as world beat punk . No-doubt it will most likely fuel rockers hearts and souls for the next decade. Definitely an LPCD to influence the already jaded "hot-topic" pre-made, by telling them who's really boss. When it comes to ROCK, PUNK, OI! or SKA , this production definitively will spell disaster for nay sayers and critics; those who complain that the punk-era genre is finished. This is giving a much needed transfusion, into a store-bought and common throw-away society, not even leaving behind the weak insipid casaulties; Only the dead poseur will remain smelling burnt; seeing the smeared and useless carcasses of the UN-true hair rockers and boneheads.This epphinial recording produced infamous legendary veteran Marty Munsch, is for everyone; age and background who is looking for truth and adventure that has been lost to cut-out pre-cast "real world" fakes why leave an army of casualties, when you can prosper with the energy of the living.

Dead Heroes:
Dead Heroes / Headache Records
Produced By: Marty Munsch
NJ's "Finest" Oi! vocalist, has just evolved onto the scene; and possibly may evolve further into a somewhat pungent following of first class baseball bat wielding; leather clad rockers & hoods.
Dead Heroes. Nuff said pal; If you can hear two of history's best :The BUSINESS' Mickey Fit's style of chanting and a cigarette choked Harpo of NIBLICK HENBANE. We just laid out some brutal tracks of the most elemental GANG ANTHEMS ever. With roots deep into the south jersey swamps and flatlands; I know these guys will give the now outdated and overrated DROPKICK MURPHYS a real street wise 1945 Bowery Boys style street beating. Drums, Guitar, and a phenomenal "walking bass". It's all here.
Dean Dean & The Sex Machines:
Producer Marty Munsch; Just as about as sinister as you can get regarding Rock N Roll. Fierce, Fiery, Uptight and laden with very early R&B from the days gone by of let's say: Max's Kansas City and the Peppermint Lounge, toss in some Mud Club too. Heavy rhythm, bass and drums; enough to suffocate and suck the air out of your lungs. Ripping dual rhythm Guitars. Flat out and hard as hell blistering razor like lead guitars; the kind that slapped Icy POP in the ear with a metal belt buckle. Maybe some MC5? Dolls? We definitely did this one in NYC.Vocals reminiscent of the 1960's Trashmen gone female.(Former Blanks 77, Bristles, Nines Yuppicide)
"NOT ENJOYIN IT" CDLP (Double LP 1995) by Violent Society
Producer Marty Munsch;
Philly's biggest and best punk bands and now the premere east coast punk legends, first full length album. This is one of the best CD's ever made. If you don't know who Violent Society is by now, then you need to do some catching up. If you don't have this CD yet then I suggest you get it. (1995 Motherbox repressed to CI Records; Repressed about 13 times. At least 50,000 sold to date.) Hit List magazines top ten best albums of the 1990's; also surpassed Maximmum Rocknrolls top 10 list an astounding 2 times.
"From The Vaults"
Partial Production Credits:
Martin Munsh
Most tracks from earlier years 1993 that were recorded in the basment as only one live recording from this era exists of them at the world famous PIPELINE,.then there was the story of a litteral homicidal maniac that had murdered a half dozen people. The engineer eventually snapped; some years later he joined a cult and methodicly slaughtered several people. Marty Munsch had been first introduced to Violent Society during the month or so prior to the session date that gave birth to these recordings. (minus one or two). The East Coast Assholes single was born, in the sessions thus we say no more. They were recorded, with a very minimal 8 track tascam recorder, a mattress in a spare back room, as a drum damper or isolation booth, in Phila PA just off Alagheny St. Most of the tracks were destined to be outakes at the time , and later on somhow found this CD "From the Vaults". It was fun I would of never had it any other way. A quart of coffiee, that pat vomited and cleared his sinus problem before going to sing vocals it was a strange situation but it worked wonders in a pinch, sorry Pat. (Scott Stedeford was the person that engineered with Marty Munsch as producer and this is a very true story. Ask Kinney, the rest was history and the history of what punk is about that most kids only dream of or read in books or magazine articles.)

The Deceptacons / Tribe Thirteen
Producer Marty Munsch;
Split 33 rpm. Maximumrocknroll Top ten. Other material including a blitz cover was recorded during a session or two, some was never used. Tribe Thirteen is now re-named "ANTI-TRUST". The Deceptacons were around before that stupid ska band, They'd pull their hearts out too if the band were together. The guitarist was on the T.V. talk show, Juraldo, for being exiled from a tech school, because of his hair. (1995 Punkrockrecords)

The Suspects - New Dawn in the 21st Century - Reviews:
1. Marty Munsch "The Phil Spector Of Punk": 5
With only a few days of notice producer Marty Munsch (Known for U.S. Chaos, The Narcotics, L.E.S. Stitches, Violent Society, One Way System, Less Than Jake) packed his things and descended in to Alexandria and the bands hold out; a small upper middle class suburb of Washington D.C. to produce what would be one of the most prolific and seminal punk albums of the late 20th Century outside the notable Discord Record label. He entered The "Inner-Ear" studios that were host to MINOR THREAT, THE SNAKES, SCREAM, DAG NASTY, and a few STEVE ALBINI efforts.
Marty Munsch laced into the owner Don Z and demanded that the doors to the facility will be stitch-welded shut to Steve Albini or NIRVANA influences and until the band collapsed from sleep deprivation. He also refused to have any acquaintances with the previous audition / demo style sounds of "Voice of America".
Working only with an old low-grade FOSTEX 16 Track recorder, He boosted the tape speed off the "fixed" position to "vary" and hammered out and created the legends that would be known for eternity as: "THE SUSPECTS".
2.(After disbanning 1997) Why the Suspects are bound to be big: 5
The pride of the D.C. punk scene, New Dawn is the Suspects second album. With smashing vocalist Brian Gayton, and producer/drummer Kent Stax leading the way for a rejuvinated and aggressive style in the Old School punk scene, the Suspects can't fail. Their honesty comes shining through on "From the heart", and they bring back a Ramones-esque sound to punk in the title track "New Dawn In The 21st Century." With classic moshing ballads as Eads Street Punks and Pistol Whipped, the Suspects are bound to be either really big in the punk scene or they are bound to suffer the same fate as The Misfits -becoming one of the most underappriciated bands in the punk scene. This album is not for the weak of heart or crackheads who listen to the new school crap alternative that they like to label punk. This is thinking mans music, its fast and its aggressive, something the scene has lacked lately. If you are in need of something to get you riled up, look no further.
"New Dawn Of The 21st Century" Much controversy again surrounded this release by the ill fated DC Suspect (torque records) hailing from Washington DC. Within the year 1996 Marty Munsch intended on releasing a split single between Violent Society and The DC Suspects. What allegedly ensued was a falter of opinions between Munsch and a band. The outcome was one of the artists involved on the single (Chris Condyan), supposedly manipulating the other involved party to rescind from their involvement of the single release of the underscored split single. This fell alongside with the synchronization of the LP In regards to "New Dawn Of The 21st Century", Munsch was invited to produce the Suspects session at Inner Ear studios. Cut and dry, the session went and then Munich's' name was dropped to the engineer slot from producer in order to avoid an injunction through legal channels due to the situation at hand. Marty Munsch actually did fully produce and co-engineer the album with Mike Davis. All the work involved with the studio setup to guitar, amplifier, combo, mike placement and localization of equipment had occurred. The only incident removing Munsch From the production was the printing on the album sleeve. Kent Stacks (Drummer from D.C 1980's Discord band Scream) ironically was asked for his ear and was named as producer to cover the slot and space the integrity of the recording was obviously comprimised, although the higher quality and origional private stock 1", 2 track masters does exist and is around in a new Jersey bank safety deposit box.
U.S. CHAOS
Blame It On Sam

May - June 1998. Contains master recordings that have been restored after being in a basement for 16 years. The tapes were mixed and re-engineered by Marty Munsch. The new release is supposedly higher powered than the original master. Contains "Blame It On Sam" and "Scum sucking Pigs", this is supposedly Chaos's swan song(s).
BASIC SKILLS
Producer Marty Munsch;
Experimental crazy stuff. Appears on more lies from the underground,(Prod). Similar and much more physical than today is the day.
The Rash
Producer Marty Munsch;
Fast furious and short lived band members agaes from 16-19 that self destructed; due to a moronic member that was addicted heroin and lived. WHEN IN ROAM
Produced by Marty Munsch;
Mick-X, or Mick Vanderpool and Founding Member of epphinial 1990's punk legends; VIOLENT SOCIETY. If you already know of the guitar power of this guy you shouldn't even be into this type of music. In my eyes one of the best guitarists of the late 20th century. We've worked with them before and you know the story. The music is different and we cant put a handle on what it sounds like, beware if you like punk and have heard TSOL and later on in the band evolution maybe, just maybe the RUTS minor influences. Your in the remote direction or outskirts. This is pushing insanity.
It's a 3 member lineup soon 4 & to have another enjoyable element on-board: "Squid" of Violent Society, so we shall se what tomorrow brings. (site up soon) Were pushing U-2, Pixies, early american goth, Gun Club, Christian Death; much more refined. Hopefully Shelly Stewart and Eddie Enzyme of Fahrenheight 451 (of goth from the 1980's fame might step in) Were looking into some Martin Atkins also Killing Joke too.

- **PUNK UPRISINGS II -Mastered By Marty Munsch; it contains over 38 tracks. It's in the range of the loudest CD's we've ever mastered/recorded or duplicated, we don't fuck around. We dare you to show us anything that can beat the levels without distortion. Contains some of these bands: Catharsis, stitches, Anti-Heroes, Snapcase, Earth Crisis, stuff from the warped tour, bruisers, so-on... pick it up at Sam Goody, Tower Records. 2. U.S. Chaos This is supposedly the only existing cover of this song. U.S. CHAOS, "Last Call For Alcohol", "For Being Young" (Dwell Records 1996) Producer Marty Munsch 1996.**More Lies From The Underground - Basic skills,US chaos, The Rash, bristles, many others; Producer Marty Munsch;
Sick As Fuck Compilation- We pulled some big moves, shows and things that make us laugh. This one was with StinkBox records. We also had a massive release party. Less Than Jake, was at this party. They are still on the cassette. If it weren't for this show Less Than Jake, might not have been recognized so fast by Capitol Records. Violent Society, The Meat Men, Heft, Against All Authority, many others. At any rate, we did it first. Thanks Heiko! (StinkBox Records 1995)***Producer Marty Munsch;
**L.E.S. Stitches (NG Records New York City for VICTORY RECORDS and the band also has a showing in Spike Lee's "SUMMER OF SAM") We did some interesting work here with items that went out as compilation tracks, about 12 of them, "New York City is Dead" an "X" cover and many other heavy hitting tracks, The Stitches got snapped up to go on THE WARPED TOUR. Great people,great band, real rocknroll includes hit single New York City Is Dead, Producer Marty Munsch;They Also Breifly appeared in "Summer Of Sam" directed by "SPIKE LEE".
( Kurt & Todd, Formerly the Radicts another good 80's punk group).NO MORE HEROES U.S.CHAOS, Truants, Tedio Boys, and a dose of punk from Connecticut. The first and only existing tribute to the almighty STRANGLERS of England. NO MORE HEROES (straglers tribute) With U.S. Chaos' rendidtion of SHUT UP and NUBILES Produced Marty Munsch;.
PINS AND SKINS (GMM ) Sorta good stuff but some mo mo lost the masters for a song they payed the band to record, this song was supposed to be "PANTIES" So the label GMM lost out on their own accord. Surprisingly "EYE FOR AN EYE" Mastered By Marty Munsch was used in place, so it makes like 9 compilations that song is on! (1999)
DETROIT NOISE COMPILATION (DETROIT NOISE) LACY, does an incredible job on her comps. Much respect due! It's a live track from US CHAOS, "WERE TAKIN OVER NOW"Producer Marty Munsch; Live and good. The way punk should be. (1999).
EXPLOITED TRIBUTE "PUNKS NOT DEAD"
ON RADICAL RECORDS NYC.
One juicy ripping track again by chaos "FUCK THE USA", Really titled "USA" Produced Marty Munsch; It's worth it's weight in gold, being the band was one of the only bands on the compilation that was around who actually played with the Exploited, to mention they even toured with them in 1981. (Radical recs nyc (1999).
PROLES Compilation From PA (Patriotic Dissent)
Some kid from PA released some CD with the bands SQUIGGY, (THE GUILLOTEENSProducer Marty Munsch); and some other tracks. Of whom we've never heard. The Guilloteens track that was released was NOT authorized. We will report you to BMI and they will take care of your infraction. This was not meant for release and was stolen from punkrockrecords. We will hunt this fool down and cause him great physical pain. It was a semi noble attempt at a release but it's not good to release music without permission of the owners, especially if it's Guns And Roses or the Clash involved in licensing.
HYPED TO DEATH #12 This 4 CD series 160 track gem is one of the best cumulative compilations that has ever been released and blows killed by death to bits and we can almost guarantee it will restore your faith in where you came from. That is punk. Anyone that's anyone that mattered is involved. Extensive liner notes by the issuer of this archivists' dream. Directly mastered from the records and reels; not other CD compilations or covers of bands that want to be other bands. When you put this CD in you feel like you've gone home again. We can't say enough it's the real punk everyone loves to talk about. If you weren't on this compilation your band never existed in the 80's nor did you; flat out and truthful, Extensive U.S. Chaos lioner notes included - (Marty Munsch)

Click here to see more "PARIAH" is the critically acclaimed new film by Randolph Kret. The film
is a rough, edgy gem in the vein of Scorscese's Mean Streets, Abel
Ferrara's Bad Lieutenant and the Kubrick classic, A Clockwork Orange.
The film has played at the Hollywood Film Festival, The Three Rivers Film
Festival in Pittsburgh, Slamdance and has been invited to the Vienna Film
Festival and the Edinburgh Film Festival. In addition, magazines like The
Hollywood Reporter proclaim the film "A Clockwork Orange for the
90's"(Doug Wood, Publisher IFF Magazine.............(plus blurbs in
MovieMaker, MovieGuide, Box Office and Zythos) and now the
newspapers have jumped on board like the Pittsburgh Filmmaker's Forum
review which states ...Pariah is an honest portrayal of a delicate
subject...on the technical side, the film is well crafted, visually stunning,
strongly acted and will definitely draw a strong audience
response!(Thomas Rippy) Hollywood Film Festival --!

The Chaos Videos from U.S. Chaos Have been found along with an archive of hundreds of high quality pictures, we most likely wil be trying to place them last-minute onto the new LP to soon be released on Bla Bla Bla and so on Records XXX. Most of the footage will be available on the new CD/LP when its released. Never before exposed pictures, videos, and other antics from the roots band that coined the term "Chaos Punk". Make no mistake, they are seasoned vetrans who play loud, aggressive, abusave, beligerant music to make you think about just how pissed off you realy are, or how much you love rocknroll music! We've been working with Love and Bullets. video on the U.S. CHAOS video, if you go to Japan or look hard enough, you can find some of the floaters , you'll know it's us just for the fact that we tag everything and make it impossable to copy anything without having our name stuck on it perminently. Thats the breaks if you want to bootleg our stuff so no matter how hard you go at it were still there.
